The A320 Dingoo is an emulator console. That is, it doesn't have a
library of its own, but it is capable of running emulated versions
of other consoles. I won't go into the details, but if you know
what you're doing, the Dingoo can be a fun little device. It also
works great as a portable media player, since it can play most
audio and video formats, as well as having an FM radio tuner.
However, there IS a learning curve for the device, and it's not for
those who are afraid to do a little bit of computer tweaking,
Internet searching, or file shuffling. It's not what I'd call
layman-friendly. You wouldn't want to give this to a
technophobe.
I would also like to note that the going price of these devices is
about half what you're seeing here, as one can be found in various
places for as little as eighty-three bucks. Do a little shopping
around, and don't let the sellers here trick you into paying more
just because this is a more mainstream venue. They shouldn't be
able to get away with such mark-ups, and you shouldn't be suckered
by them.
Ultimately, the Dingoo is a device that is for savvy gamers who
don't mind a little software tinkering and are up to doing a little
searching for the best deal.
