Raine version 0.42.4
For windows, you'll need sdl.dll from their website. Just download the runtime win32 library. The debian package in linux will take care of this dependancy.
And here are the sources in
tar.bz2
format (1.4Mb).
Debian repository : you can have raine automatically updated by apt. Just insert this line in your /etc/apt/sources.list : deb http://raine.sourceforge.net unstable mainBut come to this site from time to time to see what the updates are about ! HISTORY.DAT : here is a local copy. And here is the original site. Just place the history.dat file in your raine directory to access the info in the game info dialog (?! icon and then "Game info"). DX files : These are fully compatible with the old emudx version, and are not mirrored here : Snapshots (until 0.34a) : unzip them in your raine subdir. This should create a snapshot subdirectory, and a snapshot/big subdirectory for the big ones !
And here is a rom completely free, with its source code included : f2demo. It does absolutely nothing interesting, except showing that raine works correctly (if you load the rom and then click play and then something appears, then it works !).
Official Raine Releases
Old source cd raine cvs -z3 log makefileThe first lines will show you the tagged versions in cvs. It will look like :
head: 1.38
branch:
locks: strict
access list:
symbolic names:
Release_036: 1.37
Release_035a: 1.35
Release_034a: 1.21
Release_034: 1.20
Release_0_33: 1.18
Release_0_32a: 1.17
Release_0_32: 1.16
sdl-exp-1-0: 1.16.0.2
Release_0_31a: 1.16
Release_0_31: 1.16
Release_0_30a: 1.15
Release_0_30: 1.15
start: 1.1.1.1
vendor: 1.1.1
So it means you have the source from before 0.30 (Release_0_30) until 0.36 here (Release_036). To extract the whole raine source from cvs for version 0.33 for example, you would type :
cvs -z3 co -rRelease_0_33 raine(from outside the raine directory). And then to return to the most recent cvs source : cvs -z3 co -A raine
