Congratulations, Peter / EmuHQ, and thanks for sending the image :).

time since I heard anything from the hosts of this site...

26th October 2000
Tux has just released a new Linux Raine port! Apparently, virtually everything works, which is amazing for a first release :).
You can read the release announcement on our Message Board
and download the source and binaries from this Linux Raine site.
Speaking of which there is an older Linux Raine port made by Uli available Here,
I only just found out about it the other day, or I would of mentioned it sooner :p.
24th September 2000
Minor Update .. This release should be the same as the previous one but Maniac Square is
disabled by Request as apparently it was disabled in Mame for a 'VERY IMPORTANT reason' Other
than that I have no information but will comply (I had asked a couple of people in the past if
there was an official MameDev reason but to no avail). Here
is the updated compile. Note:- if you have problems with missing dat file errors at all just download the dat file
Here as I've probably linked it to the exe file incorrectly.
24th September 2000
I (Haze doing this update) have released a new unofficial Compile of Raine (24th Sept 2000), the main changes
in this release are 4 new games added to Raine by Eugenio Derenzi. These games being the Psykio Shooters Sengoku
Ace & Gunbird (albeit without sound for now, although a significantly better framerate than Mame) and the Galeco
games Biomechanical Toy and Maniac Square, both of which work with full sound. This new unofficial release can
NOT be downloaded here. Expect things to be broken however, as apart from the new additions no testing has been
performed on it. When katharsis has some more free time I expect an official release will take place with these
additions. The updated source code will be uploaded within the next few days.
20th September 2000
Uploaded Fox's Raine00 and also the
datafile you need to run it.
19th September 2000
Fox released a new version of Raine supporting Guwange! Check out Fox's Recycle Bin :).
Also, have a look at Emu Zone.
15th September 2000
Added Raine Logos page again. Also added a contact
Antiriad page.
20th August 2000
The Raine source was released. The future of Raine is now up to you and stuff.
A huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to the emulator since the sourcecode was
released, I am very pleased that such an interest has been taken.
This is just a small site update, I've added a link to the excellent
Raine WIP
page, by Katharsis. This is currently the centre of Raine development :).
Also, the Message Board
has been relinked.
11th June 2000
Added some more game pages and killed a few bugs. Converted main graphics to .gif format.
Made the style sheet external. Now it's time for some questions: Does anyone want the message
board back? And is it safe to convert the whole site to .png gfx (or has stuff broken on some
browsers)?
I guess you already know, Katharsis released an unofficial raine build at Geoshock
the other day called Raine 0.28h (GeoRaine?). Coolies!
3rd June 2000
The site is not 100% content complete yet, but hopefully everything will be back soon
and then maybe some new content, although no new releases. The html is hand written,
making use of cascading style sheets (CSS). It's only been tested on Internet Explorer
5.0, so be prepared for small formatting problems on the other browsers. |
